Amazon Gives Every Seller a Free Quick Plus Year

Every primary account holder gets a free 12-month Quick Plus subscription plus two seats — claim by 31 Dec 2026. It's a real paid AI subscription Amazon is giving away.

At Accelerate 2026, Amazon announced that every primary selling account holder worldwide gets a free 12-month Amazon Quick Plus subscription, plus free seats for two co-workers, if they claim it by 31 December 2026. It is the first time Amazon has handed its paid AI work assistant to sellers at no cost for a full year — a genuine, claimable benefit rather than a trial or a credit.

What you get

Quick Plus is Amazon's general-purpose work AI: documents, spreadsheets, research, email and calendar, forecasting and reports. Attach the new Selling Partner plugin and it becomes a seller workspace that shows your Amazon data — listings, inventory, sales and performance metrics — next to the rest of your operation, so you can build a pricing agent, a listing agent or a restock agent inside it. The free tier covers the primary account holder plus two designated co-workers: three seats for a year. Attendees who signed up by 26 September also received double usage through December.

Why Amazon is doing this

Amazon says 90% of selling partners already use third-party AI tools to run their business. The giveaway is the pull half of the push: the Selling Partner plugin meets sellers where they already work, and a free year of Quick Plus makes Amazon's own assistant the default place to do it. It is also a subscription play — after the free year you are in a paid funnel, so the renewal date belongs on your calendar the day you claim it.

What to do

Claim it now even if you are not sure you will use it, and assign the two extra seats to the people who run operations and advertising. Then treat the free year as a test: connect the plugin, run a few real tasks, and decide before the renewal date whether Quick, Claude or another tool earns the seat. The offer is global, so there is no reason to leave it on the table wherever you are based.
